My Top Ten Video Games of All Time

Top ten lists are all the rage amongst the kids and their internet, so why not follow the trend and make one of my own? I'm thinking this will become a reoccuring feature on the blog, so what better way than to start off with the most cliche top ten list of them all, the fabulous top ten video games?

BOOTFLAP'S TOP TEN VIDEO GAMES OF ALL TIME

1. Metal Gear Solid (PlayStation 1, 1998)
2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES, 1992)
3. Doom and Doom 2 (PC, 1993 and 1994)
4. Aki N64 Wrestling Games (WCW vs nWo World Tour, WCW vs nWo Revenge, WWF WrestleMania 2000, WWF No Mercy, Virtual Pro Wrestling 2) (N64, 1997 - 2000)
5. Resident Evil 4 (GameCube, 2005)
6. Super Mario World (SNES, 1991)
7. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis, 1992)
8. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998)
9. Metal Gear Solid 2 (PlayStation 2, 2001)
10. Mortal Kombat II (Sega Genesis and SNES, 1994)
Close 11. Grand Theft Auto III (PlayStation 2, 2001)

No in-depth analysises given, because I'm too lazy. My number 10 will likely elicit some guffaws, especially since it's not even the best version of the game, but given the amount of time I wasted away on it as a kid, I think it certainly belongs on the list. On a side note, I originally included screenshots of each game's boxart, but it game out so jambled and messed up I just took them out... for the sake of all mankind.
